The musical Margrethe is an anniversary performance with newly composed music and spectacular performing arts. We invite the audience on a journey throughout the life of Queen Margrethe II.
The performance will be a unique narrative that weaves H.M. Queen Margrethe’s story together with Denmark’s history from 1940 to today. A gripping tale of fate, duty, inheritance – and a kingdom.
The musical Margrethe is produced by Mikkel Rønnow Musicals in collaboration with TOCA Records & H.C. Andersen Festivals and will have its world premiere on Denmark’s national stage, The Royal Theater, 23 June 2023.
